This shrine dedicated to...
by o00o
This shrine dedicated to fertility, has collected erotica from all parts of Japan. It is a giggling, slight embarrassment to the local people, but everyone visits it. The courtyard is filled with huge pxnises carved from trees and gigantic wooden vagxnas complete with well-placed moss. Even the statue of a hooded Buddha becomes a phallus viewed from the right direction. The museum takes up three floors of a modern building.

I spent three months working in Takaoka, Nagoya. I didn't see much during the day as I worked in a Western style bar. The locals are generally very friendly towards westerners - it's a very welcoming place
