Marky's Restuarant Bar and also Denny's.
Lots of Westerners who work in Japan go to Marky's - so they can give good advice to tourists. Dennys is just across the road and a good family resturant. Marky's has food from every nation. Denny's is American, and always packed.

The most beautiful place in Nagoya - Atsuta Shrine

by cvilla007

"Keeper of a sacred sword"

Atsuta Jingu (shrine) lies just south of Nagoya. This is the pride of the city and loved by many in Japan. It was built in the third century to house one of the sacred swords of Japan, Kusagagi-no-tsurugi (Grass Cutting Sword). There is no picture of the sword and the public is not allowed to even view it. This sword is shrouded in mystery, and that's that.
