Thank you Yujiro!!

by ciao_from_rome2005

Thank you Yujiro for all your precious information you gave me!!!
Moreover I visited your homepage and I found it very nice and interesting.
Well my next travel in Japan(next august-three weeks)isn't all a turistic travel indeed.
Infact my company (in spring-summer 2007)will send me to Japan for three months to learn japanese language, general culture, business culture and your businnes ways.So I have to find a city(and a language school)for that time.
I excluded Tokyo as it's too busy and I'm going to visit Osaka,Kyoto,Nara,Kobe,
Fukuoka&Nagoya.
I think I'll come to Nagoya around the 23-24-25th august as I am going to visit
2005 Expo during week as in the weekend it's too busy(saturday 27th I have my flight back Rome from Osaka).
If you're in Nagoya I'll be glad to have a real(no a virtual one!!)opportunity to mee you if you're not busy or whatever.

Travel Tips for Nagoya

Wedding Procession at Atsura Shrine

by walnutz

Atsuta Shrine is one of Shinto's most important shrines. During the weekends, traditional Japanese weddings are held at the shrine (on top of the regular conducting of blessing sessions for children at ages of 3, 5 and 7). You get to hear traditional
"music" comprising the olden Japanese strings and priests raising their high-pitched voices.

Atsuta Shrine's version of the kishimen noodles, Nagoya's most famous dish, is also most yummy! Definitely a must try!

EVERYDAY EVENTS@expo2005

THE FOREST FAIRY'S BALL
5pm-7pm @ the EXPO PLAZA.....

KOI POND 8pm-830pm@KOI POND...

There is also a 185 performance circuit open everyday mainly on the GLOBAL LOOP and GLOBAL COMMONS....

I did not feel they were worth the time, but when walking around that area, just look over to the big screen and get a glimse of what is going on....:) while you walk to your pavilions...
