Any Fugu Restaurant in Nagoya
by gagarcia
I plan to try Fugu while in Nagoya does anyone know where to taste this dish safely heheh and affordable
RE: fugu eh?
by Hansode
There are many restaurants through out Japan that specialize in serving fugu so you won't have any problems finding a restaurant (look for the picture of the blowfish). In fact, so many that I've often wonder about the licensing procedures for the cooks....lol. Winter is the best time (taste) for eating fugu. A decent fugu course (served raw, deep fried and boiled) will cost 6000 yen and up.
The specialty foods of Nagoya include unagi (eel) and miso (fermented soybeans).

It's a Shrine complex with a museum, located in a nice park-like setting with plenty of trees.
A good place for a pleasant stroll.
It enshrines the sacred sword Kusanagi-no-tsurugi
You can check out a map of the area here http://www.atsutajingu.or.jp/eng/pre/index.htm
Visit and entrance is generally Free except for the museum (Treasure Exhibition Hall), which costs 300yen.
