"Hiking"
To the north of the city is Mt.Ishimaki, and to the east in the hill area is the Toyohashi Nature Walk and the Imo Bog, which is known as hiking course. Pretty flowers of marsh plants are found from spring to fall.
The 530 Campaign (No Trash Movement): "Take your own trash home" is the slogan, and as a citizens' initiative, a no trash movement has been formed.
"On the beach"
Omotehama Seaside: it faces the Pacific Ocean and has beautiful white beaches about 51 km long.
Beach seine drawing is available from the beginning of April to November.
"Iwata Sports Park"
This is one of the many parks of Toyohashi where people can enjoy pleasant walks.
There are also facilities in the park for ball games where citizens' and professional sports can take place.
