Staying in Yokosuka: New Hotel Yokosuka Annex

Although originally booked at the New Hotel Yokosuka proper, the accomedations at the annex approximately 1/4 mile away were wonderful. The staff were extremely freindly. We had the breakfast buffet at the main hotel in the morning, but the annex had coffee and tea in the main lobby as well as toast and most important, an internet connection with no wait! The rooms were pretty roomy and bed very comfortable. The cleaning was immaculate. The room was cleaned and straightened every day. Not just the bed made, but the shoes neatly put by the door, the bathroom fully cleaned, the tea cups cleaned and replaced in their homes. Our bathroom was the most impressive feature. THere was a TV in the tub area and a toilet seat that I want to bring home. It gave you several different options on how to get washed. I did actually take pictures of it. Very cool!

Unique Quality: Great people working the desks. They really want to help you enjoy your stay. The bathrooms were fun. WHo dosen't want to watch Japaneese TV while soaking in a tub?
