"Choshi is the famous for fishery city in Japan."
Choshi is the one of the most famous fishing industry city in Japan. If you are interested in Japanese fishing industry and delicious fish, I can recommend to go to Choshi. You will see beautiful sea and feel comfortable sea breeze. You will be surprised at many fisherman's ships. Today many colourful flags were flying on the many ships only because today is New Year's holiday. They pray for a good haul in this year. Ordinarily when they got many fish, they come back to their port with the flags, the sign of haul.
"Where is Choshi located?"
We used the train from Tokyo station direct Limited Express "Shiosai" on the Soubu Line. Time required one hour and fifty minutes. The train fee is ticket 2,210yen and express fee 2,010 yen total 4,220yen (2008.1.1). If you do not use express, time required two hours and 30 minutes requiring only the ticket fee, and a transfer at Chiba Station. So Choshi is a little bit far from Tokyo (which is located in this illustration at the zoom-out "minus" symbol). But you can enjoy one day trip enough.
