Travel Tips for Urayasu

Disney Lunch Box

by machomikemd

a new kind of souvenir, a do it yourself assemby plastic lunch box witha tokyo disney halloween motif. very interesting and I got it from eating at tomorrowland terrace wherein when you order a meal with drinks, you can have a gift like this lunch box or a small porcelain coffee glass when you add 500 yen to your meal. I got this as extra so that I can give it as a souvenir to one of my little nieces of the tokyo disneyland so again this is an unusual souvenir here. they have different souvenir add ons for meals here and they say that during the christmas season, the souvenir items will be plastic juice mugs and ice cream cups. Every season has it's own unique souvenir item add ons here in tokyo disney.

Critter Country

by machomikemd

for soaking wet rides like splash mountain and the Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes (their version of the Davy Crockett canoes in Anaheim Disney). Critter Country may be the smallest Disney themed lands in the Tokyo Disneyland but it boast the longest waiting time for a ride and that is the splash mountain and here in tokyo disney, the waiting time for the line is about 55 minutes average for just a 4 minute soaking wet ride. Still in was fun ride and no pictures inside as not to get the camera damaged.

(World Bazaar) Main Street Tokyo Disney

by machomikemd

shopping and walking around main street. Unlike in other disneylands where the main entrance is called Mainstreet USA, here in tokyo Disney, it is called the World Bazaar. Why? I honestly don't know but the design is about the same as the Mainstreet USA's of other Disney's but noticeably absent are the mainstreet rides like the tram or trolley or the fire engine and there is no Disney Railway at the front of it unlike in other disneylands. this World Bazaar is also the only Mainstreet Disney with a Roof! This gateway area to the Park features shops, restaurants, and even a bank with designs that recall a small American town in the early 1900's. Located just steps from the Main Entrance but far from the everyday world.
