There are various places in Matsuyama where you can access the internet for free, most centrally is a small place in the Matsuyama city station (Shieki), and also in the Ehime Prefectural International Centre.
There are also internet cafes in town, which you need to join before you can use. There are one or two along the Okaido shopping arcade.
