Capsule time in Fukuoka!
This is a great capsule hotel located near the train station. It's very nice inside and has great service.
You are required to buy a membership to stay there, and there are no women allowed. There is no curfew either.
The basic sleepers are all on the same floors (about 1000 capsulers per floor) . A happy coat is provided as well as most hygene products are available at no extra charge.
The bathroom is a large communal bath with showers. It was a bit weird for me, as I was the only non-asian in the hotel that night it seemed. I got a lot of weird looks. So if you can manage to wash when surrounded by a hundred naked men who are all looking strangely at you, then you'll do fine. If you are shy then you may prefer alternate sleeping arrangements.
Great place, and I'll stay here again!
