Various, from the local video store woman who would ask me a hundred questions in Japanese(at the time i could not speak a word of Japanese)in a matter of only a minute, to the worn out Gorilla statue climbing the wall opposite one of the local pubs, and the workers at the 7/11 whom were wondering what a traveller from the other side of the would was doing in OMUTA.
An old mining town about 1 hour 15 minutes from Fukuoka Airport by train. Not a known tourist attraction city(to say the least). But a city that holds a lot of fond memories of some of the nicest people i have ever met.Omuta is a city where my oldest brother lives and works.
