Resort Ryokan Villa Inawashiro: Onsen Resort
Fairly pricey, but with good service and meals included.
As with all such facilities, there are excellent communal hot springs. It's right next to a ski field, so it would be pretty good in winter, I would think. Nothing better than a hot bath after a day's skiing.
Nice views down to lake Inawashiro, and up to Mt. Bandai.
Most people drive, but the hotel does offer free transfers from Inawashiro station (around 10 minutes away by car).
