Blue Impulse T-4My Kakamigahara
"Gifu Air Show Blue Impulse"
Once a year around October or November the Kakamigahara Air Base of the JASDF (Japan Air Self Defence Forces) opens its doors to the public and aircraft enthusiasts can watch stunning acrobatic flight formations of the Kawasaki T-4 Blue Impulse squadron.
On the ground aircrafts of the JASDF are on display:
- T-2 CCV, the mid-80s air plane of the Blue Impulse squadron
- F-4J, the Japanese version of the F-14 Phantom
- F-15EJ, the Japanese version of the F-15 Eagle
- F-2B, the Japanese version of the F-16 Fighting Falcon
