Convenient Location
This hotel is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Hiroshima JR station. Our room, while not exactly spacious, was one of the larger ones we had during our stay in Japan. It had a sort of entrance lobby with the bathroom at one end, a wardrobe at the other and a desk in the middle, and the room proper, with a double bed with bedside tables both sides (not a feature of the all the hotels we encountered) and a sofa. There were also two windows with views of the Kyobashi river.
In common with other Japanese hotels, there were vending machines on the guest floors - on our floor were machines selling cold drinks and ice cream. There were tea-making facilities in the room, though the allocation of tea bags was a little bit meagre.
Breakfast was buffet style with a mix of Japanese and western items (including croissants and DIY toast).
I can't comment on the price as we booked as part of a package.

Comfortable Hotel in Hiroshima
I stayed here for one night. Ahhh, it was bliss.
Central heating keeping me warm all night, soft, comfy pillows, clean, immacuate bathroom & bedroom. Good sized tv. Heated toilet seat with all the extra buttons and functions imaginable! Downstairs, in the lobby area, there is a restaurant, open till late, and a bar. However, sometimes there are functions going on in the bar, and it will be closed. You do pay for your comfortable surroundings though!
Unique Quality: Less than 5 minutes walk from the central train station (and bus and tram terminal). The location was prime.

Unique Quality: Nice hotel located near the trainstation. So it is easy to travel where ever you want to go to.

Hotel 'New Hiroden'
A twin room for about 125 - 160 euro/dollar
Unique Quality: A very nice and professional hotel. Near the Kyobashi river and very clos to the station. Don't take a cab just walk from the station (even with your suitcase).
Great view from your room and a lot of facilities.
