Goryokaku Park by RoseAmano
Gryokaku is the first star style castle in Japan.End of Edo period (1868) new goverment and Bakuhu(old goverment) fighted each other,which was Hakodate war.
I think this place was really the last Samuri Battle place.
I hear 'Last Samurai' 's model is Saigo Takamori who was Kyusyu man.
But I think Higikata Toshizo was real Samurai.
You can see this castle from a tower.
Next year it will be rebuild and get more high building I heared.
