Samurai house, Nagamachi by kevarms
The Nagamachi district of Kanazawa was the old Samurai quarter. One house we visited is open to the public. If you haven't been in a traditional Japanese house before I would recommend it. It's very interesting to see the paper walls and doors, tatami matted floors and a small but stunning garden.
