A lovely fountain along our way home!
by yen_2
I love walking around the Minato Mirai areas from Land mark to Jack Malls. When we went home one night, we found a lovely fountain along our way home, you can sit around those areas since they have lots of clean benches and lots of trees on the sight. Its so refreshing in there, love to just listen to the waves of the trees. This fountain is infront of the Yokohama Museum.
China Town

It is the biggest Chinese neighborhood in Japan.
Chinatown is bordered on each side by four colorful gates.
Plenty of shops, restaurants and stalls.
My suggestion: to have a walk and shopping in the evening and after that a nice dinner in a Chinese Restaurant.
My New Yokohama

The port of Yokohama is a fascinating blend of the old and the new where only 30 minutes away from Tokyo. Since the arrival of Matthew Perry's Black Ships in 1854, it has been a major entranceway for Western culture into Japan.
.
And to this day, one of its main attractions is its international atmosphere, from its famous Chinatown to the luxury liners visiting the harbor. With a population of 3.3 million, Yokohama is Japan's second largest city, offering a broad selection of hotels, museums, and amusement and sports facilities, as well as a large international convention center. And now Yokohama also boasts an impressive, lavishly equipped stadium.
.
Opened in March 1998, it is the largest in Japan, accommodating 70,000 spectators. Ideal for international competitions, International Stadium Yokohama stands ready to welcome athletes and fans to the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan.
