Grand Intercontinental Hotel is an international chain hotel in Yokohama that is classified as a five star hotel and truly has a deluxe standard. It has three different types of rooms which can absolutely suit your needs and comfort. You can choose what best suits you in these types of room which are suites, executive, and standard rooms. It is surrounded by different attractions such as Yokohama Cosmo World, Shopping malls, Yokohama Museum of Art, the historic Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park that is why its target market is classified as a resort hotel. It is also known for its six different mouth watering restaurants that serve different types of international and local cuisine. Truly it is certified as one of Yokohama’s best hotel.
Unique Quality: It has different amenities and services such as health and fitness centre, beauty salon, florist, indoor pool, live entertainment, business services, travel services, day care and children’s activities, housekeeping and laundry, global newspaper service, and other miscellaneous services.

Sailing palace in Yokohama
In Japan's 2nd largest city, this hotel is in great location near shopping, restaurants, public transportation and with a superb view of a BIG ferris wheel.
Within the Minato Mirai dock area, fine looking building. 5-star all the way inside, too. Big weddings and ceremonies can be held here.
Rooms 27m2 - 150m2 JPY 29000-415800. Occassionally offers within the JPY 20000's per room per night, what is a great value, as both the service and the room is top-notch.
How to get to the hotel from rest of Japan:
By train:
From Shin-Yokohama station: transfer to Yokohama line, go to Yokohama station, transfer to Minato-Mirai-line and go to Minato Mirai station. Total: less than 0,5 hours and cheap.
Or taxi for JPY 3000 (approx)
From Yokohama station: transfer to Minato-Mirai-line and go to Minato Mirai station. Total: less than 0,25 h
Taxi JPY 1000 (approx)
