Kochi's So-So Business Hotel

As an exchange student in Kochi, I had never needed to stay in a hotel in the city. But when my family came for a visit, we choose the Oriental because it was close to the places I wanted them to see. The building is much nicer on the inside, although like most Japanese hotels, the rooms are incredibly small. There isn't much to do in the hotel, so you probably won't be spending much time in these rooms in anyway. I was also disappointed that they did not have rooms for 3 people, and ended up separating each of us. But the staff was very helpful, even though they spoke very little English. The location is also pretty good, right on the main street and about 10 minutes from Kochi Castle. I recommend this hotel as a Business hotel, not to families.
