OK, it was raining when we arrived which didn't put us in the best mood, but the room was dingy and the bathroom was some cubicle looking thing that looked like it was added as an afterthought (yes you had to step up into it, which is quite dangerous in the night!). The hotel food wasn't that appetising either. BUT I guess the location wasn't that bad, near to transportation and a short bus ride away from Gion and shopping.
Unique Quality: The staff were ok and they minded our luggage after we checked out so we could go shopping before we left. And there was a Family Mart (7Eleven) right on the corner.
