The hotel was a block away from the Kyoto Station so it is very convenient for me and my sisters to walk. Besides, the hotel is very close to the Kyoto Mall where we can grab a bite if we get hungry. We can also walk to the Kyoto malls and buy "miyagi" (gifts).

The hotel's room is pretty decent - it has a very nice bathroom, although tiny but comfortable and very convenient. The hotel has a little tiny place to hang your jacket and clothes. It has a television, internet connection, telephone and comfortable bed. The only thing I didn't like is the pillow - but, I noticed that this is the kind of pillow most residents in Japan has. The pillow is made out of seeds - I think. But, it is good for your health and your neck!

The hotel provides for slippers and bathrobes, one towel, one face towel, toothpaste and toothbrush, shampoo and body soap. There is a tiny burner to heat up tea and the hotel provide two packets of green tea!

There is a window where you can see down the street and see the hotel next door. I had to close my window because of the hotel's proximity to the next hotel. I can actually see the other people nearby!

The lobby of the hotel has a library and a washroom which is pretty nice. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the lobby is pretty smoky. A lot of the Japanese people are allowed to smoke on lobbies of hotel.

There is also a restaurant at the first floor of the hotel but we didn't go there because the mall is pretty close and there are more restaurants to choose from and they served great but inexpensive Kyoto food!

Unique Quality: Inexpensive hotel and it's within my budget! It is very close to the mall, the Kyoto train and bus station, and an array of very good inexpensive restaurants.
