Japanese style room
This guest house is about 10 minutes walk from Kyoto station.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful bunch.
My wife liked the Japanese style room that we stayed-in.
The heater in the room is not really strong though, it can barely heat the room in winter.
The room charge for a twin private room per night is ¥ 5,800 and for dorm type is ¥ 2,200 per person per night.

A: "I stayed at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto which is about a 10 min walk from the station (I walked directly form there) and was quite happy with commodities and price."
