Absolutely the best experience in Kyoto thanks to XIV Kyoto Yaserikyu. Very gorgeous location, the most exceptional guest service and the staff at the Japanese restaurant was outstanding, so attentive to every need (a special shoutout to Mr. Nagaoka, the waiter who catered to my table during my birthday evening and did a fine job at attempting to overcome the language barrier, and extremely pleased with all the lovely surprises of the night). The architecture is gorgeous and the spatial distribution imbues a sense of calm and relaxation, a perfect retreat spot. Kudos to the architect and the team behind the design of this beautiful hotel. Stayed there for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. Recommended!
