There is a street of traditional houses on the way to Naiku.

If you follow a steady stream of people you can`t miss a large torii gate anouncing the vicinity of Shinto shrine.

On the way to Naiku, the most sacred shrine in all Japan, you`ll pass hall for special prayers called Kaguraden. Ceremonies are performed by Shinto priests but you are free to pay your individual respect.

... is enclosed by four fences. You can approach only the first one.
"Kotaijingu"
The most sacred building has the same shape as it had 2000 years ago.
