My dear Tsu

Tsu, the capital of Mie prefecture, a small city. It has one of the most important universities of the area, and that's why I lived here for three years.
Basically rural, it lacks the excitement of larger, nearby cities like Nagoya, Osaka or Kyoto, but it does have charms of its own. I liked very much living here.

"'The city with the shortest name'"

Tsu is regarded as the city with the shortest name.
If you consider the sound and not the number of letters (after all, that's a transcription to latin alphabet), it can't get shorter than 'tsu'!
It means 'harbour'.
