Dormy has 3 hotels in area. Annex (Closer to the Station that their main hotel). 5-6 minute walk from the Station and less a minute to Hirose-dori subway station. (Hirose 2 chome)
Annex entrance looks like a small company's elevator lobby and if the sign was not outside, you would not even know the place was a hotel.

Excellent sized bed for a single room! Everything was comfortable and pleasant. Room equipped with everything you'd expect and more for the price and other hotels in the area: Typical amenities: Soaps, shampoos,combs, razor, toothbrush, hot pot (Tea bags), TV (Pay per view) and refrigerator. Shower no bath tub however shower accommodated 6'6" height w/ room to spare overhead. Free/fast internet wired in the rooms or free use computers(2) on 3rd floor; 2 restaurants (My breakfast was included w/ plan); Open air bath; massage services(feet, facial or full body).

Check in is at 3:00 PM but staff allowed early bag check in to allow us to go to the Ball park and when checking out, I did not want to take my bags to the baseball park so they gave me coins for free locker in 1st floor lobby to stow the bags all day

Awesome reception staff - English spoken - the following morning when going to breakfast I was greeted by name.

Breakfast restaurant waitress team did everything but hand feed us. Typical Japanese meal consisting of salmon, rice, (Choice of tofu, poached egg, or natto), small salad, miso soup, tea, coffee, yogurts, I was overwhelmed by their command of English in lieu of the fact one waitress started only 2 years ago studying it. Some so-called Americans should speak so well. Mike speaking zero Japanese found it a comfort.

All-in-all a much needed and well relaxed weekend.
