Okay, so I know it's a broad question, but what is Sendai like to live in? I'm moving there for a year or more in July and don't have any insider information as such. Particularly just whether people enjoy it there? What's the general standard of living etc? Sorry for being so broad but i'm asking as a total Sendai novice!
Sendai is one of the cleanest cities in Japan.
It's full of good foods (especially beef) and beautiful spots.
Sendai is an urban city, so you can get anything you want in the city.
As it is located in north-east of Japan, it's a bit cold in winter, but the temperature won't go below -10 anyway. You can survive.
Conclusion: The general living standard in Sendai is very high.
thanks for your reply! I've heard that it is a very academic city, universities, schools, museums, galleries, theatres etc. Do you find things to do in the day time (besides work)? Also, how about night life?
There are many things to do, whether it be day or night.
All kinds of fun are at your command, especially your gourmet life!!!
Excellent, thankyou for your help. I look forward to living there!
Besides, you can always take Shinkansen to come over to Tokyo.
It's just one hour or so trip!!!
yes i read that. it's really a very good location for visiting other areas. excellent. and the festival is soon!
Sendai is liveable but less lively. Sometimes boring.
