Just got back from Sendai this weekend. Went for the 13th annual Johzenji Street Jazz Festival. Great city! It's population is about 1.5 million I think so it's a great escape from my little part of Japan - Asahi-mura, which you won't find in VT...yet. Well at least until I can get the editors to actually ADD it to the list of places. I'll have pics as soon as I can upload them.

A: "Not sure that this is correct. You can get the train from Sendai to Ishinomaki. The line from Ishinomaki to Onagawa though does still look to be inoperable."
