Grand Komoro Hotel: The nicest place in town

I spent 1 week at the Grand Komoro Hotel in Oct '99. Cramped room, poor/no room service, 4 channels on the TV: BBC, 24 hrs of cricket, 1 Japanese news, 1 Japanese porn. Glad I brought some books to read.

Plus, the room was absolutely filthy. The carpet had a black pathway leading from the bed to the bathroom. It turned white socks black after one or two passes.

The hotel restaurant was lousy, and there were no other restaurants nearby.

Unique Quality: Seeing it in my rear-view mirror after i checked out.
