Berlitz has new phrase books that cover a multitude of topics...I highly recommend them.
When ever you enter a shop, always bow when you greet someone, you will be considered very polite by doing this. Never place your chopsticks verticaly in a bowl of rice, that is considered a funeral rite!
If you always remember that you are a guest in any country and act accordingly, you'll be quite surprised how open the people will be.

by vincentf
Sasebo lies close to Nagasaki, the city where the last atomic bomb was dropped by Allied Forces in World War II. Many tour operators visit this city due to Huis Ten Bosch, a recreated Dutch village. There are windmills, canals and Dutch architecture that makes this a beautiful place to take photos.
