Sunrise Tourist Hotel: Hotel in Okinawa City
This was a great hotel. The room was large enough for the 2 of us. The closet was huge, holding our suitcases, clothes, shoes, and packages. the hotel offered free breakfasts off their menu. I usually had fresh fruit attractively arranged. There was high speed internet connections in all the rooms, TV, hair dryers, mini fridge, coin laundry ( very handy), a 24 Hour resturant, ( try the steak special-wonderful) ,bar, fax service, housekeeping services daily,
This hotel was centrally located in the heart of Okinawa City. Many shops and resturants within walking distance, bus sation and grocery store on the same block. the staff was pleasant and helpful, translating the bus schedule, helping make a dental appointment.
having the 24 hour resturant (and their food was excellent, offering both japanese and western food), was very handy when my husband had to work late hours. also, having the coin-op laundry was great, as i did not have to go far, just down the hall!!
