camping/pension: Campground or pension
The first night we stayed at the camp ground... it is 20 mins walk out of town but sometimes the locals will give you rides. We stupidly left food in our tent and woke up with ants all over us.
Also we had bad luck in that some other tourists in a big group were singing on the beach till 4am!! No doubt this in not so usual though because this place is not a tourist magnet.
Anyway the second night we booked into a pension... not bad price and very decent. The best way is to ask for accommodation at the ferry terminal when you arrive... they give you a map and a list... but I think they can call places for you like they did for me.
OVERALL ZAMAMI JIMA IS THE BEST!!
