Nikko Hotel Kansai Airport: The nearest hotel to the airport

The airport itself is located on the very island where the airport is. There are no other airport hotels on this airport island.

It's suitable if you are stuck on the island and the trains have gone out of service after 1140pm.. Taking a taxi, even just across to the adjacent mainland side of Izumisano is very pricey on cab!

There are shuttle buses from the airport to the main area shopping areas on the Izumisano side.

Unique Quality: Very near location to the airport.

Opinion of Price: more expensive than average

Washington Hotel Kansai Airport: Hotel with a convenient location

This hotel is classified as an airport hotel but it's located on the mainland side, which is about 7 km from the airport. Getting to there from the airport is easy and considered inexpensive.

The room are your typical japanese, which to many may seem quite small, but this is average for Japan. See pictures..

Unique Quality: There is a 24 hour minimart which is convenient.

I've never seen this anywhere else but they have an induction plate for the cup in the room.

The factory outlets and seacle amusement mall are just under 10 mins walk away! :) (Beats staying in a hotel on the island where the airport is..)
