Packing List
by elsillan
tIf you go for long time (e.g. a year like me) it doesn't matter so much what kind of luggage(s) you have. But I prefer to take as large as possible and not pack it all full, because you will have much more things when you go back. Study Abroad
Mexican hideout
by OsakaHatter about Ola
Ola is my favourite place to go to escape from the standard Shinsaibashi bar circuit. It's a tiny bar (6 people will fill it!) but the staff and (astonishingly loyal) regulars give it a great atmosphere.
Prices for drinks are about average for the area and they offer a wide range of tequilas if you want to give your night a kick. Sen-san also whips up some great Mexican food if you're feeling peckish.
Great Desert around Houzenji Yokomachi
by alvinpie about Meoto Zenzai
Highly recommended eatery.
There is only one thing on the menu so the only question is how many orders you want to have.
Every order comes with two bowls of Zenzai. The bean soup hit my sweet spot right on while the "white jade", made of sweet rice, has the perfect texture that's not too sticky yet chewy enough to emphasize its presence. Two thumbs up. Way up. 500 Yen.
America Mura Street
by Randy121
America Mura is a very unique place. It offers tourist something different other than temple and castles. I'm glad we stopped by to check it out.
Young Japanese hang out here. Expect to see all kinds of styles of dress, hair, make up, piercings, etc. It was a great experience to see this in Japan.
See the Osaka Aquarium.

It's huge and the fish are pretty big too!
There are big 'Star Wars like monster crabs'! and sharks and the biggest stingrays you've ever seen!
There is a huge tank in the middle which you walk
around and descend lower and lower so you see all the different levels of life which gives the impression that it's a completely different tank.
