Hearton Hotel Nishi Umeda

PROS:
Location and price:
The hotel took us a few minutes to find but, it is only a few blocks from Osaka Umeda Station. For the price and location it was a good choice.

Restaurants and food:
Nearby are many places to eat and the hotel itself offers a good morning buffet style brunch.

The room and the view:
The room was nice enough although the view wasn't so special but there the blame rests more with the city of Osaka rather than just the hotel.

Staff:
The staff were very friendly.

CONS:
We weren't able to use the laundry facilities as we would have liked to because a baseball team was staying at the hotel and using them all up on a daily and nightly basis. The hotel doesn't have enough washing machines and driers to accommodate so many people (only 2 of each if I remember right).

An excellent place to stay, it was comfortable, and felt good... of course, after 21 hours of running around between planes, taxis & subways, ANYplace would feel good if you could put your bags down & rest...
It's about 2 blocks from the main subway/bus station, so it's well-located.

Unique Quality: Oddly, the main entrance is "at the back" of the building, and I found it difficult to locate, since the main street seemed the more obvious choice to look...

Directions: Just a few minutes walk from JR Osaka Station, downtown.
