Hi all
I would be travelling to Osaka end of next week. I am still wondering what kind of clothes to pack for my luggage - sweaters? Jackets or just light-weight clothes? How's the weather like in Osaka now?

At the end of next week, it is better for you to bring long-sleeve shirts and 1 sweater and 1 jacket.
Inside hotels,restaurants, it may be warm because of the air conditioner...and wool sweater might be too warm and you might feel like taking it off.
If you bring long sleeve shirts, a sweater, a jacket... they will work perfectly!
If you feel warm, you wear only the long sleeve shirt.
If you feel cold, you can wear the sweater and the jacket according to the temperature.
Today, I was wearing a long sleeve shirt.
After riding a bicycle, I felt a little bit hot with the shirt.
But after sunset, it became cooler and I need a jacket.

In early March or April, the Cherry Blossoms are a real sight to see! Anywhere in Japan during these months is time for Sakura!
This is when cherry Blossoms bloom and it is such a wonderful/beautiful sight to see! Many places in Japan and in Osaka have Sakura parties.
I am a big baseball fan of NPB (Nipon Professional Baseball) and in Osaka area
(Kansai) there are three teams to choose from to see-Kintetsu Osaka Buffaloes at Osaka Dome,
Hanshin Tigers at Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya and Orix Blue Wave at Green Stadium in Suma-ku, Kobe. (see my Kobe page for Orix Blue Wave)
Kansai International Airport, 50km away to the south of downtown Osaka, is connected with major cities by railway. Rapid service and express trains bring you to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe with convenience and comfort.
I used to visit Universal at U.S.A. Ten years ago, I had a chance to visit again at Osaka. I still exciting like in the past. With more rides from new movies and former rides that I used to play still great.
But, I have only 5 hours there. I did not play "Backdraft", "Spiderman" and others. That's why I have to return in the future to this place again.

The harbour village is basically a medium sized foodcourt catering to people visiting the aquarium and the ferris wheel.
There is a few western (KFC for example) fast food shops and a number of Japanese brand restaurants, with a range of prices and quality. The village has plenty of seating, both indoors and outside and is useful for grabbing a quick bite to eat before or after a visit to the aquarium.
The harbour village also features a range of small shops selling everything from Hello Kitty dolls to kids clothes. The basement is taken up with 'Sega World' which is not a bad spot to entertain the kids in for an hour.
