Do you have a lot of luggage, or other reason why you may have problems, because for most able bodied people with a regular amount of luggage there will be no problem as the Nikko Kansai is connected to the airport directly – no roads to cross, only an outside pedestrian bridge.
The reception is one floor down from the entrance so that may be tricky – I am sure there are lifts but I always used the escalators.
However, should you still be worried, there is no country on earth that does more to help than the Japanese so I am certain you will have no trouble finding a portering service.

Unless you have an unusually large amount of luggage the airport luggage carts(no charge) will probably be sufficient. You can use the carts from the time you pick up your luggage till the time you check in to the hotel.

Porter service is available however,

Yes, the Hotel Nikko is right next to the airport with a walkway connecting the airport and hotel. I don't think there would be a problem with transporting luggage unless you have an obscene amount with you. The airport luggage carts are free at KIX and you may be able to bring them close to the hotel entrance. Good luck and have fun in Japan.
Travel Tips for Osaka
Fifa World Cup 2002
by Carino
Osaka was on of the host cities for the World Cup in 2002. 3 games took place in the Nagai Stadium:
12 June 2002: Nigeria 0:0 England
14 June 2002: Tunisia 0:2 Japan
22 June 2002: 1/4-Final - Senegal 0:1 Turkey
47'000 Fans can enjoy the athmosphere in that rather old stadium (built in 1964). To make the stadium ready for the games, it had some major renovations for US$380 Million!
One Day Pass
by traveldream
One-Day Pass
One-Day passes are available every day except on No-My-Car-Days.
No-My-Car-Day Discount Pass
A special discount ticket is available for use during Osaka City's official No-My-Car-Day, on which day people are encouraged to use the subway rather than personal automobiles. (The Japanese language uses "my car" as a loan phrase to refer to personal automobiles.) No-My-Car-Day falls every Friday and on the 20th of every month. If the 20th of the month falls on a Sunday or a National Holiday, the following day is a No-My-Car-Day.
Validity:
Both tickets are valid for unlimited travel for one full day on subways, the New Tram, and city buses.
Conveyor-belt Sushi - 2007
by worldkiwi about Sakae Kaiten Sushi
This fantastic Kaiten Sushi, called "Sakae", was somewhere east of Umeda station. Unfortunately, the only map I have is the one on the back of their business card and it is all in Japanese! Plates were 130 yen each here and it was another fun and delicious experience of a kaiten sushi.
One different dish I had here was scallops in sushi nigri style. This was delicious and I wish I had had more! If I can get the address translated, I'll add it to this page!
MONKEYS & WATERFALLS
by heywinks
Go to MINO PARK in the city of Mino in Osaka to hike & see wild monkeys. The best time to go is in the autumn when the leaves are turning color. It`s so beautiful & the air is so fresh!
It takes about 45 mins to hike all the way to the waterfall. Along the way, enjoys views of a red Japanese bridge, visit the insect museum, or stop in one of the restaurants for a bowl of udon noodles or a cup of tea.
There are souvenir shops lining the entrance of the trails/park selling mostly monkey goods & in the autumn time deep fried battered maple leaves!
BEWARE: When you are hiking up, try not to have open food on the trail. The monkeys are wild & if they see your food, they might come & try to get it from you.
Shopping.
by Sharrie
SHOPPING: Another must: I love picking up all the latest fashion from an underground departmental stores at Hankyu Sanbangai. Hotel New Hankyu is one of the best and most convenient places to station oneself. It is within walking distance from all those shopping I'd like to do!
What to buy? Well, it all depends on your budget; things ranges from daily essentials to fine arts: I love Japanese products; they are all of top quality. One obvious example is its paper quality. If you happen to see any Japanese bookstore, walk in for a stroll and pick up any of its dictionary and examine the paper quality: it's the best. In fact, it's the Japanese strive for quality control that has lifted them from the destruction in World War II to an economic powerhouse today.
