Spending the time with a new friend
by huggy93
After seeing the castle etc. I really just enjoyed walking around Osaka looking and people watching.
As the dusk began to settle in, that's when the city became alive for me. The lights were on and there was an excitment in the air, ranging from a peaceful bustle to different interactions of people.
Temple district Nr.2
by globetrott
This was obviously a whole temple-district there with various temples and also some graveyards. The area was open to everybody with its own gate from the street and we hardly saw any single person there. Most of the shrines and temples had their doors open, so we could enter and take a look and take photographs as well.
Subway Station art

This is the Hanshin underground shopping mall on my way to the Hanshin subway Station.
I much prefer this kind of bright, colourful, artistic environment, to the sterile, cold tunnels in many 'underground cities', don't you?
Visit Our Underwater Friends

Starting from Japanese forest, down to the underwater creatures in Pacific Ring of Fire (volcanic zone), to Antartica and so on. See the dolphins dive and swim very fast! You can even see the penguins--they made the temperature in the penguin "cabin" similar to the pole. The big aquarium in the center where we follow down in spiral circle has big ocean creatures such as mantas and sharks. At the end of our journey, we can see beautiful colourful glowing jellyfish.

Go shopping to ATC (Asai and Pacific Trade Center)
Enjoy browsing brand clothing shops. Osaka is traditionally the hub of the textile industry in Japan. You will not be able to resist buying trendy but bargain clothings, including designers' brands.
