We booked the Midosuji Hotel online, and we selected this particular hotel due to its reasonable rates, proximity to a major train and subway station, and the famous nightlife nearby. Upon arriving in the Namba area, it was a bit difficult to find the hotel, as it is tucked down a side alley, and the signs have no English whatsoever.
Check in was quick and easy, even though the staff spoke little English. The room was small, as expected, but recently renovated and very nice. The bathroom, of course, was about the size of one in a passenger airplane. But clean, comfortable and wonderfully located is great for just 9,000 to 10,000 Yen a night!
The hotel was your average. There is a japanese style communal bath at the top floor but i didn't explore it. Seems they have internet connection in the room. Room facilites are of your standard hotel. It's considered inexpensive but at a good location.
Unique Quality: This hotel is very near the Namba subway station, exit 11.
Directions: Namba subway exit 11. Then walk thru the street. You will see the sign for Midosuji Hotel. the entrance is in the alley.
