Hamamatsu was the first city in Japan to make PIANOS...This museum was planned as the 1st MUNICIPAL MUSEUM OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT in the country...

It was open in April 1995...You can feel and appreciate the wisdom and the sensitivity of the people who lived in this respective time and place, through the materials and shapes of the musical instruments, the color of the tone and ways of producing sounds, and the musical melodies they created...

elementary, junio high and senior citizen are FREE..

Parking....ACT CITY BASEMENT PARKING...1st 30 min......300 yen
