Tobu Bus Schedules

by SandiM

I`m trying to locate the bus schedule for the bus from the JR train station to Ryuzu Falls for November, and back again to the train station. Can someone assist in locating an english website for the schedules, or (if you can read Japanese) find the information on the tobu-bus.com website? thanks!

Here is a map of the bus routes, unfortunately in Japanese only. http://www.tobu-bus.com/pc/search/rosenzu/nikko.pdf It is the blue line going toward the top left. You get off at 竜頭の滝 or Ryuzu Falls.

This is the bus schedule, Bus 2A (to Yumoto Onsen): http://www.tobu-bus.com/pc/search/bs_tt.php?key=43003_11 It is dependent on which day of the week you are traveling. First column = Monday to Friday; Second = Saturday; Third = Sunday and holiday service

You can take any buses listed, except for the one that marks with 中, which ends its service at the gate of Lake Chuzenji, about an hour walk to the waterfalls.

For returning route to Nikko Station, here is the bus schedule:
http://www.tobu-bus.com/pc/search/bs_tt.php?key=43044_12 There will be more buses at Lake Chuzenji station.

I would suggest you to visit Kegon Falls at the gate of Lake Chuzenji and enjoy the lake for a bit before heading back.

Here's another bus schedule/price chart. http://www.nikko-jp.org/access/bus.html
It costs 1350yen to Ryuzu Falls.
