Very Pleased with Hotel Horidome Villa

Very easy to find. Kodemmacho Station (Hybia Line-H14). Exit 3, turn right and right again, or, Exit 1, turn left and left again, the Hotel Horidome Villa is only 4 blocks down (one-way street).
Receptionists were very welcoming, courteous and professional, so too all hotel staff. I encountered no real language problem even though I had very limited Japanese.
Room was perfectly adequate for my 5-night stay. Rooms are not large, but space is at a premium in Tokyo. Bed was bigger than a usual single, nearly double size, mattress was firm but comfortable. Clean sheets and yukata provided every day. TV and thermos jug- kettle plus complimentary green tea. Coffee table and easy-chair. No wardrobe, but sturdy clothes rail with hangers attached to the wall. Nor was there any 'view' from the window, only the wall of the adjacent building.
Bathroom was relatively small, compared to Western standards, but was fully functional with great facilities, including 'smart' toilet with built-in bidet and buttock cleansing spray. Clean towels every day and complimentary toiletries also provided.
Please bear in mind, this is a Japanese business hotel and is designed primarily for the average Japanese person, therefore, anyone who is bigger than XL size might find the room/bathroom a bit confining. Nevertheless, I am 6' 3" and weigh 15 stone and was not inconvenienced by the size of the accommodations.
Overall, excellent value if on a budget. A great little hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Moreover, as I am a hotel employee in the UK, I can recommend this establishment.
