Transport help
My husband and 16 year old son are flying into Narita Airport from Australia and arrive at 6:45 pm. They are overnighting at the Mecure Hotel Narita (818-1 Hanazaki-Cho 2860033 Narita) and are catching a flight to Sapporo from Haneda Airport the next morning at 10:15 am. Could someone tell me what is the easiest way to get from the Mercure Hotel Narita to Haneda Airport and what time they should depart the hotel?

There is a bus service that runs between Narita and Haneda. From memory it was about 3000yen each one way (that was a few years ago) and takes about 2hrs. It ran every 30mins or so and was really easy to book tix I just booked about 15 mins before the next one departed and got a ticket. There is heaps of tourist desk where the staff speak english and will direct you in the right direction. It is really simple. I dont know what time you will need to depart from your hotel. I guess that depends on how far it is from Narita and then how easy it will be for you to check in (I figure your going skiing if your heading up to Hokkaido) and how much luggage you have to transport. I can suggest that you if you have heaps of luggage with you consider the delivery service (Takuhai service) and have your stuff delivered from narita to hokkaido. It is cheap - about 2000yen for a large suitcase and in most cases is gauranteed next day delivery. Your hotel should accept ur stuff for you if havent arrived before it does. There is service desks in the airport as well that can help with this. I also suggest the japan-guide website it has a great forum and heaps of helpful advice.
