Located in the heart of famous Ginza area, the Hotel Monterey Tokyo is on exit 10 and 11 of Ginza 1-chome Station on the subway Yurakucho line.
Hi All
Arriving in Tokyo from Osaka by Bullet Train on October 11th and need to get to the Hotel Monterey Ginza, I have been told you can walk but with a case just wondering if it is better to catch a train to there. Does anyone have detailed directions please for the correct station. Also can I use my JR Rail Pass for that part of the journey and if not do you know the cost of a ticket

At Tokyo station, Exit from the YAESU SOUTH EXIT.
Catch a taxi. Print out the hotel address and map from the website or ask the hotel to email you the address in Japanese. Give it to the driver.
If you are looking to save money by walking, I'd suggest going to Yurakucho Station from Tokyo Station. It's only one station away, but you'll be closer to the hotel. It shouldn't be more than 5-10 minutes to walk from Yurakucho. Tokyo Station is a bit far, in my opinion, but not impossible. I'd say 15-20 minutes. Honestly, the best is to take a taxi from Tokyo Station if you have big bags. It's just easier.
