Sunlite Shinjuku - a solid hotel
Sunlite Shinjuku was a good place to stay. Very small, we booked through AsiaRooms.com and the room we had was classified there as a 'semi double' which as i said was small but we stayed in smaller in Europe!
It's in a good location, about a 10-15 minute walk from Shinjuku JR Station but it'sa nice enough walk :) The staff are friendly and speak english. It's a basic business hotel and it suited our needs just fine, very clean, free wifi and internet in lobby. All we did in there was get in, sleep, then get up and go. Oh yeah and even though i say it was small, my sister stayed with us for 3 nights on the floor in a sleeping bag which the staff thought was pretty strange :)
There's two convenience stores right near it (surprise surprise if you haven't been to Tokyo if you go you will notice an abundance of convenience stroes and vending machines...a Sapporo or 'Pocari Sweat' is never very far away! :)

Cosy business hotel in Shinjuku
The Sunlite Shinjuku Hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. It is a clean business hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are small like any other Japanese business hotel but are clean and functional. The Floret Cafe where you take breakfast has a selection of 3 menus - 2 Japanese style and an American breakfast.
Unique Quality: The good thing about this hotel is its convenient location to Shinjuku Station. It is only 5 minutes walk to Shinjuku San-chome metro station. The only drawback is that there is a curfew time imposed at 2 am. So if you are a party animal, you have to be back to the hotel before 2 am. But considering the hotel's proximity to the night entertainment area of Shinjuku and Shibuya, it shouldn't be difficult to get back to your hotel by the curfew time.
