Astana International Hotel
Unique Quality: The Astana International Hotel, a 3-star establishment, opened its doors in 1996. So, unlike many hotel properties in ex-USSR, it is not an old restored monstrous Soviet hotel. The Astana Hotel is located in a quiet part of Almaty, just 10 minutes from the city center. The hotel occupies 3 upper floors of the business center, so it is undoubtedly convenient for a business traveler. The ideal location of the hotel near the National Museum (that Golden Man of Central Asia!!!), business and administrative areas attracts a lot of tourists. The hotel has restaurant, bar, currency exchange (with rather poor rates, but there will be no fakes), sauna. The rooms offer TV, bathroom, minibar, room service and all the usual collection of amenities.
