Friendly and great value
Staff very friendly. Complimentary dinner at restaurant. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and great atmosphere.
I recommend this venue to others, it is value for money.

a few block from TsUM
It is one of higher cost performance hotel in Almaty Centre with 6 stories building next to Hotel Uyut. The hotel is located on 27/1 Gogol Street, which is between Nauryzbat Batyr and Seyfullin, a few block west from TsUM.
I stayed at single room facing to west side on 5th floor. The room is relatively small with full necessary functions and balcony and looks clean. I could not feel inconvenient except a little pressure of shower flow and disconnected internet connection at room with lack of maintenance of relay station even it is located in front of my room.
A certain size desk is facilitated with electricity socket and telephone jack (no need now)
so you can work there. Clean towels are provided at bath room.
You can take breakfast at basement cafe and there is only Nescafe at breakfast. Internet connection is charged by time, 30min. 400KTZ, 1 Hour 700KTZ, 3Hours 2,000, 5Hours 3,200KTZ. There is no more than 5 hours tariff.
It is capable service level at reception and they can arrange 555-333 taxi to the airport.

Excellent Moderately Priced Hotel in Almaty
I stayed here twice in 2008, once for several days. The hotel offers a level of service approximately equivalent to a two star European hotel with all the amenities one would expect, clean and comfortable room, excellent restaurant and bountiful breakfast, bar, gift shop, etc. Reception staff speak very good English and were very pleasant accomodating. The hotel is located on a quiet side street not far from the center and within easy walking distance of tourist attractions and restaurants.
Unique Quality: Nice mountain views from pleasant balconies.
