Radison SAS Astana Hotel: Great but Expensive Hotel in Astana
I stayed at this fine hotel for two nights in March 2008. The hotel is right on the Ishim River and within walking distance of restaurants and bars.
The staff was very friendly and, as far as I could tell, they all spoke English very well. The room was spacious and comfortable with a very nice bathroom and a good view from my window.
The hotel, I suspect, is pricey for Astana but it is at least a four star hotel and quite comfortable by western standards. I did not eat dinner at the hotel but breakfast was good.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Astana.
Very western style with nice amenities. It is in a good location.
