Good spot
Have stayed at the Pinara (now known as the Ak-Keme since the Tulip Revolution when the hotel was 'nationalised') a few times now. The rooms are comfortable the staff helpful, but have no high expectations about the food. Have also run a training course at the hotel and the corporate rooms are well put together with excellent service. Only drawback is the location - far from town, but it's only a US $1 ride to the centre.
