over rated hotel
Jannat is located far from the city center. They claim to be a "5 star" hotel, but by the western standards, I give them 3.5 star. The hotel staff are friendly and respectful. Jannat offers a complimentary "breakfast" and WiFi internet. "Breakfast" is actually "Lunch," I can't even call it "Brunch." The food looks yummie, but, it is not breakfast. WiFi connection is good. Right next to Jannat is "Monte Carlo" it is a casino. It gets VERY loud, especialy when they have outdoor parties. Jannat has a Bar, but the guy who handles the drinks needs a serious training. The room that I am staying in is very clean, and good size. They offer a complimentary shoe polish service as well. They have a safe, cable TV with CNN, BBC, Euronews, etc. and a ironing board in the room, bring your own iron. When you call a taxi, make sure bargain the price before you get on. I f you need to go to the city center, don't pay more than 100 som ($2).
